Job description:

 

Title: SSRS Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: Long Term

 

Required Experience:

 

Specific Job Duties:

 

* Proven experience in a lead role developing reports using SSRS and using the .NET framework.

* Develop SSRS Reports using SQL Server Reporting Service and Visual Studio 2008.

* Configure and maintain an SQL Server running Report Manager and Report services.

* Develop complex SQL queries (ex: using various joins and subqueries).

* Create complex reports (ex: drill down reports, charting) using multi-dimensional objects and OLAP cubes.

* Create stored procedures and general SQL queries using PL/SQL in Oracle database.

* Create/Modify Sharepoint Sites and develop Sharepoint Services specific to integration with reports.

* Develop Sharepoint Webparts on an as-needed basis.

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

 

* Bachelors in Computer Science is preferred but consideration will be given for equivalent experience.

* 5+ years of experience in software development, database design and specifically SSRS.

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET, C#.NET, .NET Framework, SSRS. Other tools and technologies are noted below.

* Microsoft Certification desirable.

* Thorough understanding of SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

* Overall working knowledge of installation/maintenance of SQL Server, SSRS, IIS on a windows server.

* Responsible for overall design (performance, scalability, maintainability, deployment, execution, operations,

  and technology infrastructure) of the solutions implemented with Microsoft Technologies.

* Working experience Model Designer, Report Manager, Report Builder and Report Security.

* Be able to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, and format the contents of a report.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it to business needs.

* Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.

* Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team co-operation.

* Demonstrate technical leadership experience including managing timelines.

Microsoft IIS Server, Windows 2003 Server, Oracle 10g database, ASP.NET, C#.NET, .NET Framework, Enterprise Services,
