Title: Pure core java developer (No web experience)

Location: Chicago

Duration: Long term

Required: ASAP

 

Responsibilities include:

• Application is concurrent, low latency, real time data feed.
• No application servers are used. No web development, no GUI frameworks!
• Analyzing user requirements to document specifications as defined by client standard methodology
• Participating in design discussions and helping to create architecture/design artifacts
• Analyzing existing applications to identify improvement opportunities
• Coding and testing components
• Helping to identify internal and external best practices
• Supporting QA,/Certification, and Production environments

Qualifications:

Required:
• Server side Core Java (J2SE)
• UNIX
• SQL skills
• Multi-threading

Preferred:
• TIBCO
• FIX messaging
